Helping clinicians think through complex cancer care decisions
Lana Oncology Care is an AI-supported clinical decision support concept designed to help clinicians reason through decisions during cancer treatment. The concept connects patient-reported symptoms with an AI-supported clinical workflow, helping clinicians explore possible responses to changes in a patient's condition before deciding on the appropriate course of action.
The proposed experience combines daily symptom check-ins with a clinical decision-support layer, including a “Decision Twin” concept and a clinician-facing environment for exploring potential interventions and their implications. Lana is designed to support clinical judgement rather than replace it: the clinician remains responsible for interpreting the information and making the final decision.
